KATIE RICHARSON
Katie started dancing at the age of three, then discovered physie at the age of four. Throughout high school she was heavily involved in Rock Eisteddfod, performing in the lead role from year 9- year 11, and contributing to the choreography.  In her final year, she took on the role of choreographer for 'Class Act' (the Combined Catholic Schools version of Southern Stars).
Katie has made the national finals for Physie for most years, and placing 3rd at opera house was her highest place to date. After having time off over the past couple of years to fulfill her duties as Miss World Australia 2008, she is excited and looking forward to taking on the teachers role of 13 yrs -1st yr seniors, and returning to the 'physie world'.  She was very lucky to have such fabulous experiences through her year as Miss Australia, however, she is enjoying being back home, back at Physie and returning to University to gain her degree in Nutrition & Dietetics.
