CHAMPION GIRL


Champion Girl competitions start in September.
These competitions consist of heats, semi-finals and finals. If the girls are selected at this level they will go on to compete at National Finals.
Junior (6-14yrs) National Finals are held in November at the State Sports Centre, Homebush.
Seniors and Ladies National Finals are held at the Sydney Opera House.

INTERCLUBS

Interclubs are individual competitions which are intended to prepare members for Champion Girl competitions. These interclubs are usually held in July/ August and normally involve 6-8 other clubs from various areas. Interclubs have proved to be great experience, especially for new members.

TEAMS

Team Competitions are held annually in November at the State Sports Centre, Homebush. A team consists of 8 girls where the syllabus is done in different formations and gives the girls great experience with drilling as part of a team and having fun at the same time

SYLLABUS

Members are taught the new BJP syllabus for the first part of the year. the syllabus, which is choreographed by a group of BJP associate teachers, is set to contemporary music and is specially designed for each age group. It consists of standing and floor routines and also includes a dance.

Good Posture
Fitness
Flexibility
Balance
Strength
Co-ordination
Self-discipline

*BJP produce a DVD of the syllabus so that you can watch and practice at home.
